Natural Resources Wales (NRW), who manage the woodlands around Devauden, has planned forestry work which will includes felling operations taking place to remove approximately 133 ha of trees that have been infected with larch disease.
Devauden is sited on the edge of Chepstow Park Wood and there are several other woodlands a short distance from the village including, Feddw Wood, Wern-y-Cwm , Percus Wood and Ravensnest Wood.
