In late 2023 Chepstow Walkers Are Welcome agreed to work with Monmouthshire County Council and look after a section of the county with regards to the public rights of way network.

A group of local residents has recently formed the Llanishen Area Public Rights of Way Project.  The group aims to ensure that the public right of way network in and around the village of Llanishen is clearly signposted, accessible and well maintained for the enjoyment of residents and visitors to the area.

On the 27th April 2021 the Welsh Ministers for Wales confirmed the order to modify the definitive map showing the rights-of-way around Panta Farm.  

The Planning Inspectorate has now confirmed its decision about the rights of way around Panta Farm.  The Inspector has concluded that no evidence had been submitted to cause her to alter her earlier decision that the Order should be confirmed.
