A vacancy has arisen for the post of Clerk to Devauden Community Council.

Devauden Community Council covers the areas of Devauden, Itton,Wolvesnewton, Newchurch, The Cot and Kilgwrrwg. The clerk to the council is the financial and administrative officer for the council and is responsible for providing all financial, administrative, and legal advice as well as effective management of all its resources and policies.
The council is beginning to explore how new digital tools can boost participation in local decision-making, and the clerk can be closely involved in that process.
The role is permanent and for initially 10 hours each week – worked flexibly other than attendance at the regular monthly meeting – and there is scope for the right individual to shape the role further.
The salary will be paid at the appropriate level on the NALC Scale.
