Catherine Fookes, our local Member of Parliament, visited Devauden Fete on 5th July to officially open the new adventure playground.

Catherine praised the efforts of everyone involved in the project and made a special point of mentioning the fantastic community spirit in Devauden before unveiling a plaque to commemorate the occasion. A representative of the National Lottery, from which the hall received a contribution of £64,800 towards the cost of the playground, also took part in the ceremony.
