This year's Devauden Festival raised £8,600.  Organiser Kevin McElroy has sent the following message of thanks to all the residents.

On behalf of the Hood Memorial Hall Committee I wish to say Thank You to all the residents of our wonderful village in supporting & for many of you assisting us, to make this year’s DEVAUDEN FESTIVAL so successful.

Volunteers from far and wide helped make this year’s festival one of the best we have ever undertaken.

The weather treated us well, which ensured that the number of visitors kept arriving throughout the two-day event.

Without you, the willing volunteers who gave up your time and who worked so hard. The Festival would not have been the huge success experienced by everyone who attended.

I am pleased to announce that the Profit raised for the Hall and the local community was £8600.00.

A sincere thanks to you all and I look forward to seeing you at next year’s festival 18th/19th May 2018.
