Lisa Rogers (off of TV's Scrapheap Challenge) officially opened the new rustic playground at Devauden Village Hall on 2 May 2016.

The playground was paid for with money raised by last year’s Devauden Cross Country Races and with a £2,000 grant from the New Grove Farm Trust.  The  playground was constructed by local artisan Curtis Beeby using tree trunks from the adjacent Chepstow Park Woods which were donated by Natural Resources Wales.

Television personality Lisa Rogers is cheered by local children as she cuts the tape to officially open the new play area in the grounds of Devauden Village Hall.
