The popular Chepstow Walking Festival (24th - 28th April 2019) is now in its 7th year has a packed programme of 35 walks plus several fringe events led by experienced walk leaders, some specialists in their field. You may make a number of discoveries and learn more about the area that you live in. Locally there are 4 walks around the Devauden area.

A walk that visits the award winning Brookes ice cream farm, a fabulous walk taking in the 3 local churches of Kilgwrrwg, Wolvesnewton and New church and an option to meet some Llama's! A walk & talk with Chris Radford of the Wye Valley AONB about his work on the Lower Wye Catchment project covering the 4 Wye tributaries.

The festival organisers are keen to encourage people to use the bus have joined up with Friends of the No 65 who have devised a walk around the Narth and Beacon Hill to correspond with the bus times. The bus route is one of the most picturesque routes in Monmouthshire and we are in danger of loosing it. The return bus fare (non bus pass holders) is included in the ticket price as is the parking in Chepstow.
